 Miss Nicci

Blanke

 

 



 As a dance instructor of more than 12 years, Miss Nicci has developed a great passion for sharing her love for dance. Her philosophy is to combine the learned techniques and skills of dancing with style and performance quality gained from acquiring a love for the art. Nicci has extensive training in tap, jazz, and ballet. She has danced for more than 22 years training with The University of Toledo Dance Department and many nationally accredited instructors at dance conventions and studios across the country. Nicci has been recognized for many outstanding choreography awards and her accomplished dancers have won numerous high-point and platinum awards on both the regional and national level. Nicci has obtained an Associate of Science Degree with an emphasis in Business Management from Monroe County Community College. She is a owner and also the Artistic Director of Viva.
  

 Miss Brandi

McKart

 
 

 A full time working mother of two children, Miss Brandi continues to enjoy teaching gymnastics after 16 years and being involved in the sport for over 23 years. Miss Brandi is a professional member of USA Gymnastics, Safety Certified through the USA Gymnastics Organization, CPR and First Aid certified. Being a former competitive gymnast herself , she can appreciate the hard work, dedication and passion it takes to be successful at your craft. Miss Brandi has taught gymnastics at various levels including pre- school, developmental, cheer tumbling, competitive pre -team and team through optional levels on all four women's events. She is an event specialist coaching optional team girls on the uneven bars and floor exercise and the primary conditioning coach for pre- team through all team levels. Brandi has attended accredited national, state and regional congresses, conventions and higher performance seminars ranging from Florida to Texas including professional training at the covated Bela Karolyi Training Camp. She continues her education learning new techniques, skill development and progressions. Miss Brandi loves working with energetic children of all ages no matter what their skill ability!!
  

Ms. Jessica

Priehs

 
Jessica Priehs is currently studying on a full tuition scholarship as a graduate student at Bowling Green State University, pursuing a M.Ed. in sport administration and facility management. She earned a B.S. in dance education from BGSU in 2006. Jessica is currently a dancer with Open Window Dance Company, under artistic direction of Tammy Metz Starr. Jessica has taught dance for the past eleven years; in addition to teaching at various studios throughout Ohio and Michigan she is currently an adjunct faculty member of the dance department at Owens Community College. Jessica’s passion and talent for dance has afforded her the opportunities of studying and performing throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. She has earned numerous awards throughout her formal training, including outstanding dance major, excellence in dance artistry, and dance service and leadership. Jessica enjoys contributing her love for dance through volunteer work – past experiences include movement therapy through Hospice, as well as teaching ballroom and traditional folk dances to individuals with special needs. She has also served on the Ohio Dance faculty.
  

Ms. Lauren

Soltis

 

 

Miss Lauren is currently a student at Owens Community College studying dance and also a member of the Owens Dance Team.  She has been training in the areas of tap, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop for 15 years.  Her specialty is hip-hop and is currently the choreographer and instrutor for all of Team Viva's hip-hop routines.  Her students have won numerous overall awards and most recently earned the XCalibur Award for the highest teen and senior scores at Dance Xplosion in March of 2009.

 

  
 

Miss Kayla Carollo

 
 

 

Miss Kayla is currently a student at Eastern Michigan University studying dance and business and is currently a member of the Eastern Michigan Univeristy Cheer Team.  She comes to us with over 13 years of training in the areas of tap, jazz, ballet, and Tahitian.  She has experience in the recreational and competitive dance arenas and was a member of Lori's International Performing Company out of Flint, Michigan where she also had the opportunity to travel with Miss Lori as an assistant for Hoctor's Dance Caravan.
